Scarlett Johansson became famous with her role in the movie The Horse Whisperer (1998) directed by Robert Redford. At the moment, she played in 35 movies, such as Lost in Translation (2003), The Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) and more recently Match Point (2005), Scoop (2006), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008) (all 3 from Woody Allen) and He's Just Not That Into You (2009).

Her father is an architect, but her paternal grandfather was a director and screenwriter: Ejner Johansson, although I couldn't find much information about his work. Her mom, Melanie Sloan is a producer.

She is an older sister, Vanessa Johansson, who is also an actress.

Her twin brother Hunter is an actor too (he appears in the movie Manny & Lo with Scarlett), although I'm guessing that he changed carrier since that movie (his only movie) came out in 1996...

She also has a half brother, Christian, but I couldn't find anything about him so dunno...

Finally she married smokin' hot Ryan Reynolds in 2008, who is also an actor and appears in more than 40 movies/TV series.

Famous Family Trees: Joely Richardson

If you don't know, Joely Kim Richardson is mostly known for her role as Julia McNamara in the TV series Nip/Tuck, although she played in more than 40 series/movies. She comes from an amazing dynasty of actors and directors.

Notably, she is the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, who also plays her mother's role in Nip/Tuck. Vanessa played in more than 110 movies and won an Oscar for a role in "Julia" in 1977.

Her father, Tony Richardson, was a famous movie director, and her grandparents were both very important actors (Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson).


Her sister was the late actress Natasha Richardson, and her brother-in-law is Liam Neeson.


She is also the niece of Lynn Redgrave (Ugly Betty) and Corin Redgrave and cousin of Jemma Redgrave.

Her ex-husband, Tim Bevan is a a producer (Burn After Reading, Bridget Jones, Ali G, etc).


Their daughter Daisy was born in 1992 and played in 2 movies: Elizabeth and The Affair of the Necklace.


She is now dating the Russian billionaire Evgeny Lebedev, who kind of looks like her son in Nip/Tuck!!!

Famous Family Trees: Blake Lively

Blake Lively (Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl and Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 1 and 2) was born and raised in LA by her actor parents, Ernie and Elaine Lively. She is the youngest of 5 siblings and has a brother, Eric, two half-sisters, Lori and Robyn, and a half-brother, Jason. Do you remember any of them?

Her father Ernie notably played in The Man on the Moon, that I love!! and American Pie 2, and tons of other movies and TV series. It seems that her mom Elaine focused on being a talent manager, which she did pretty well considering the whole family is working in show business!

Her brother Eric, well just look at him :´)... he played in quite a few series, like the L world, Modern Men, So Weird, and also appears in American Pie.
Lori Lively played in series like Melrose Place, ER, Cod Case, the Mentalist, the Unit and many more. I never saw her before, but I guess her appearances on the shows were small, up to 3 episodes at most.
However, I remember very well her sister Robyn. I watched many shows with her such as Twin Peaks, Doogie Howser MD, Chicago Hope or Savannah. It seems that she continued appearing in many TV series, like Nip Tuck, the Mentalist or 30 Rock. I can't say I remember her appearance in those though. For me she is mostly the girl in Savannah really.
I don't know much about Jason Lively, but it seems that his last appearance was in 1993 in Return to Work.
